Wishbone Zoë is a multi-media artist making work in Western Massachusetts. Her compositions combine experimental music, songs, hand-drawn animation, performance art, drawing/painting, video, soft sculpture, poetry, and multi-media collage. She wrote and released two full length albums and two EPs of music before beginning to focus on hand-drawn animation in late 2017. Self-taught, she collaborates with bands on music videos, and in her own work seeks to bridge animation with live performance art with sonic collage or song. In 2020 her commissioned music video for Alastair Moock's all ages modern-activism anthem "Be A Pain" was selected for the Ottawa Int'l Animation Festival. In early 2020 she released her third full-length, concept album "French Of The Bird" through Sad Cactus Records alongside an accompanying performance piece incorporating live vocals and interactive video.
